Robert Rotenberg is the bestselling author of five legal thriller mysteries, which are noted for the quality of his writing. He also teaches writing to budding authors at Humber College, at the annual Thrillerfest convention in New York City and to private clients.

This seminar focuses on the crucial first sentence and paragraph of a novel. Participants are invited to bring with them examples of their own writing (first page only) and examples of first paragraph of one novel that they admire.

Feel free to email one-page samples of your writing and of your choice from a novel (only one each) in advance of the seminar to Robert at rotenberg@sympatico.ca.

Bring pen and paper and leave your defences at the door.
