Young Writers Bursary - The New Quarterly

The Young Writers Bursary is an application-based award that is funded by The New Quarterly. This bursary allows students to attend the Wild Writers Literary Festival on November 2 and 3.

Successful students will receive:

- entry to the Friday Night Showcase Event with Sharon Bala and Rawi Hage
- entry to two panels on Saturday, November 3
- entry to two Writers Craft Classes or the Young Creators Masterclass (for ages 13-17) on Saturday, November 3
- one gourmet boxed lunch
- a year’s print subscription to The New Quarterly!

Applications to the Young Writers Bursary are now open for the 2018 Wild Writers Literary Festival.
