Early Bird Tickets Now Available for the 2019 Wild Writers Literary Festival
The New Quarterly is excited to announce the opening of online ticket sales for the 2019 Wild Writers Literary Festival. The festival is presented by The New Quarterly, Words Worth Books, and Balsillie School of International Affairs. It will take place at locations in Kitchener-Waterloo from November 1-3.
Wild Writers features a star-studded ensemble of prominent Canadian writers, who will host panels, workshops, and performances for readers and writers of any age at any stage. The Opening Showcase presents prize-winning authors Elizabeth Hay and Kathy Page. Workshops and panels are led and moderated by acclaimed writers like Pamela Mordecai, Casey Plett, George Elliott Clarke, and Helen Knott. The Sunday Brunch ends the Festival with Scotiabank-Giller Prize nominees David Bezmozgis, Michael Crummey, and K.D. Miller.
